What you will do

• Lead the strategic development and growth of Belgian fire engineering operations, focusing on Wallonia and national coverage.
• Act as the Technical Director on complex fire and life safety projects throughout Belgium.
• Provide high-quality fire engineering consultancy to architects, design teams, contractors, and clients.
• Interpret and advise on Belgian fire safety regulations to ensure technical excellence and compliance.
• Drive business development by identifying opportunities and building long-term client relationships.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent to scale the Belgian team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fire, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Significant experience in fire safety engineering or technical consulting.
• Proven track record of winning work and developing client relationships.
• Expertise in fire strategy, performance-based design, or risk-informed approaches.
• Fluency in French, English, and Dutch is essential to operate across all Belgian regions.
• Willingness to travel across Belgium and occasionally within Europe.
