What you will do

• Lead, grow, and develop Manufacturing and Production Engineering teams across specific product families.
• Own the end-to-end ME function, ensuring all BOMs, formboards, and tooling are production-ready.
• Manage floor execution through the PE function to resolve build blocks and reduce rework via root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Industrial Engineering on process optimization, line design, and capacity planning.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean process design, PFMEA, and 5S methodologies.
• Ensure AS9100 compliance and audit readiness across all engineering work products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace, defense, or electromechanical assembly.
• 2+ years of experience in an engineering leadership or management role.
• Technical fluency in reviewing work instructions, build processes, and documentation.
• Working knowledge of wire harness or electromechanical assembly processes.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident) per ITAR requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-growth startup manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and AS9100 quality systems.
• Experience with NPI processes and gate-based production readiness frameworks.
• Familiarity with automated wire processing and manufacturing execution systems.
• Certification in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
