Salary: $170,000 – $200,000

What you will do
- Lead, grow, and develop Manufacturing and Production Engineering teams across specific product families.
- Own the end-to-end ME function, ensuring all BOMs, formboards, and tooling are production-ready.
- Manage floor execution through the PE function to resolve build blocks and reduce rework via root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Industrial Engineering on process optimization, line design, and capacity planning.
- Drive continuous improvement using lean process design, PFMEA, and 5S methodologies.
- Ensure AS9100 compliance and audit readiness across all engineering work products.
Requirements
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace, defense, or electromechanical assembly.
- 2+ years of experience in an engineering leadership or management role.
- Technical fluency in reviewing work instructions, build processes, and documentation.
- Working knowledge of wire harness or electromechanical assembly processes.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident) per ITAR requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience in high-growth startup manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and AS9100 quality systems.
- Experience with NPI processes and gate-based production readiness frameworks.
- Familiarity with automated wire processing and manufacturing execution systems.
- Certification in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
