Material Program Manager (Aerospace & Defense)

What you will do

• Develop and execute material program plans and subcontract management strategies.
• Coordinate project schedules based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP) with Engineering and Quality teams.
• Create and control accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) from the technical baseline.
• Manage material costs (actual vs. should cost) and execute make/buy/where processes.
• Develop risk and opportunity plans to meet program objectives.
• Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) and material forecasting.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, or Project Management.
• Experience in the DoD Aerospace & Defense industry.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance at time of hire.
• U.S. nationality required due to program nature.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP business systems and Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of US Government acquisition laws and regulations (FAR).
• Experience with electronics/aerospace hardware and manufacturing processes.
