What you will do

• Analyze project proposals and provide data-driven recommendations for leadership decision-making.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, and performer progress to ensure successful execution.
• Coordinate and de-conflict activities with mission partners, government stakeholders, and external organizations.
• Draft briefings, analytical products, and acquisition-related documentation for senior leadership.
• Conduct research on strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities impacting the global defense industrial base.
• Represent government interests during meetings with industry, government, and academic stakeholders.

Requirements

• Active SECRET security clearance required (with ability to obtain TOP SECRET).
• 6+ years of professional experience in defense industrial base initiatives, acquisition programs, or RDT&E.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Department of War acquisition lifecycle and the PPBE process.
• Experience preparing written reports and briefings for senior government or military leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders across government, industry, or academic organizations.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting the Office of the Secretary of War or similar strategic-level staff.
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with advanced manufacturing, microelectronics, or critical materials.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
