TL;DR
Lead Data Analyst (OPUS): Leading complex data analytics, statistical modeling, and predictive analysis for readiness-based sparing models to drive strategic decision-making in DoD programs with an accent on reliability, maintainability, and availability (RMA) principles. Focus on developing data pipelines, integrating multidisciplinary engineering methodologies, and delivering data narratives to executive stakeholders.
Location: Remote (United States). Requires active U.S. national security clearance, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain/maintain clearance. Travel may be required to customer sites.
Salary: 111,000 - 144,000 USD per year

What you will do
- Lead advanced data analytics, statistical modeling, and predictive initiatives for readiness-based sparing models supporting Navy and DoD programs.
- Partner with stakeholders to define objectives, translate business challenges into data-driven strategies, and develop simulation models on the readiness cost curve.
- Build data pipeline architecture, extract and assess data quality from tools and reports, and document processes for consistency.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor junior analysts, and drive continuous improvements in analytics processes and workflows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, communicate complex technical information, and ensure alignment with program objectives and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 10+ years in systems engineering, logistics analysis, or modeling/simulation; advanced data engineering and readiness modeling in DoD or equivalent.
- Expert in RMA principles, lifecycle sustainment analysis, and Opus Suite (OPUS10, SIMLOX, CONNECT) or equivalent.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating stakeholders for integrated solutions.
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience exporting/analyzing data from Navy systems and developing supportability analysis or readiness-based spares packages.
- Understanding of aerospace/defense industry and DoD policies/requirements.
