Design Engineer (AV Systems)

TL;DR

Design Engineer (AV Systems): Design and develop integrated technology solutions for complex, large-scale immersive installations with an accent on audio, video, broadcast, control, and networking technologies. Focus on supporting full project lifecycle from concept to implementation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

Location: Virtual or onsite across US locations including Santa Clara CA, New York NY, Dallas TX, Chicago IL, Denver CO, New England; travel to customer sites may be required

What you will do

• Design and develop integrated technology solutions
• Support projects through full lifecycle from concept to implementation
• Collaborate with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders
• Develop engineering documentation and system designs
• Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and implementation activities
• Provide technical expertise across audio, video, broadcast, control, and networking technologies

Requirements

• Experience in design engineering, systems integration, commissioning, solutions architecture, or related technical fields
• Knowledge of audio, video, broadcast, control, and/or networking technologies
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and related engineering tools
• Industry certifications such as AVIXA CTS/CTS-D or manufacturer certifications
• Exposure to integrated AV, broadcast, media, or infrastructure solutions
