Architect (Engineering)

TL;DR

Architect (Engineering): Researching, planning, assessing, and designing a variety of building projects, providing technical guidance and coordinating with the technical team with an accent on civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection engineering. Focus on preparing presentations and producing documents from schematic design through to the construction phase.

Location: Portland, Maine. This position can be fully remote for the right candidate living in Maine, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts.

What you will do

• Research, plan, assess and design a variety of building projects.
• Provide technical guidance and coordinate with the technical team, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection engineering.
• Work with the project team to prepare presentations and produce documents from schematic design through to the construction phase.
• Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI’s during construction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• 5-10 years of project experience in an architectural practice.
• Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures.
• Proficient in current version of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills.
• Architectural Registration (any State).
