Fullstack Developer (Frontend Emphasis) (React/TypeScript): Building and sustaining a mission-critical command and control system for the Mobility Air Force with an accent on modern single-page applications and UI performance. Focus on developing maintainable component architecture, integrating secure backend APIs, and optimizing front-end rendering strategies.

Location: Hybrid, Scott AFB, IL. Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for government security clearance. Eligible for remote work only within the St. Louis area.

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 a year

What you will do

• Design, implement, and deploy single-page applications using React.js and TypeScript.
• Define frontend architecture, including state management, routing, and build configurations.
• Develop reusable UI components and interactive views aligned with mission workflows.
• Integrate React applications with Java and .NET backend services via RESTful APIs.
• Build automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for the UI.
• Optimize performance through code splitting, lazy loading, and efficient rendering strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development with substantial experience in React.js.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, SPA architecture, and modern JavaScript tooling.
• Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Context APIs.
• Experience deploying frontend applications to AWS (S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Cognito).
• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Ability to obtain Security+ certification.

Nice to have

• Prior DoD or federal experience.
• Basic backend development skills in Java or .NET.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD practices.
• Experience working within Agile methodology.
