TL;DR
Payroll Executive (HR Operations): Delivering managed payroll services to clients with an accent on accuracy, legal compliance, and client relationship management. Focus on managing full-cycle Irish payroll, handling complex statutory queries, and optimizing process efficiencies.
Location: Hybrid; Minimum of 1 day in the office in Ireland; other 4 days are flexible on working from home or office.

What you will do
- Plan and deliver client payrolls within agreed deadlines, ensuring high accuracy and validation of data.
- Handle routine and complex customer queries regarding payroll and HR issues, liaising with internal and external contacts like the Tax Office.
- Manage all aspects of Tax Year end processing and prepare employees' compensation using payroll software.
- Deputise for the Operations Team Manager, providing guidance to the team and supporting performance management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure all payroll delivery meets governance, legal, and GDPR compliance standards.
Requirements
- Experience in a volume-based payroll operations environment (in-house or bureau).
- Essential: Irish payroll experience.
- IPASS qualified or in the process of becoming qualified.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and changes.
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to spot numerical errors under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills for managing a high volume of queries.
Nice to have
- UK payroll experience.
