Legal Engineer (AI)

Salary: $144.5K–$195.5K annually, plus equity and bonus opportunities

What you will do

• Support client-facing pilots, onboarding, and training for legal teams.
• Design and evaluate AI use cases for contract review, legal research, and drafting.
• Work with Legal Engineering, Customer Success, and Product teams to improve platform adoption.
• Collect user insights and translate them into clear, actionable product feedback.
• Document best practices and contribute to internal playbooks for deploying legal AI at scale.

Requirements

• Completed J.D. degree required.
• 0+ years of experience; trainee or paralegal-level candidates are welcome.
• Interest in AI, product features, workflow automation, and prompt engineering.
• Strong communication skills for translating between lawyers and technologists.
• Analytical and detail-oriented approach to evaluating AI outputs.
• Ability to work proactively in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
