What you will do

• Define and champion the narrative vision, tone, and storytelling goals across the project.
• Lead and mentor a small team of narrative designers, providing direction and feedback.
• Design and prototype narrative systems, including dialogue frameworks, branching logic, and environmental storytelling.
• Own the end-to-end implementation of dialogue content and VO assets within the game engine.
• Collaborate with level design, gameplay, art, and audio teams to maximize storytelling opportunities.
• Manage narrative priorities, workloads, and documentation to ensure timely delivery of assets.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Narrative Design.
• At least 1–2 shipped AAA titles in a Senior or Lead capacity, preferably in the FPS/action genre.
• Hands-on experience implementing narrative content in game engines (e.g., Unreal, Unity, Frostbite).
• Proven leadership and mentorship skills.
• Proficiency with production tools including Jira, Confluence, and Perforce.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model based in Guildford, UK.
