Outreach Specialist, Pharmacy Outreach

Pharmacy Outreach Specialist: Conducting high-volume outbound and inbound calls with patients, providers, and pharmacies to promote medication adherence and improve health outcomes with an accent on problem-solving barriers like cost or forgetfulness. Focus on overcoming objections through empathy and education, coordinating prescription refills, and documenting interactions accurately.

Location: Remote in the United States across US time zones. Offices available in Austin TX, Atlanta GA, Tampa FL, Raleigh NC, Phoenix AZ, Charlotte NC. Ability to work any shift between 8 AM - 7 PM EST with potential for evenings/Saturdays.

What you will do

• Conduct high-volume outbound and inbound calls using scripts to meet performance goals on calls/hour and quality.
• Problem-solve patient barriers to medication adherence, escalate clinical issues, and secure commitments.
• Coordinate with providers and pharmacies for prescription refills and document all interactions.
• Identify process improvements for pharmacy workflows and participate in training on quality metrics like STARs.
• Share best practices and support team goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and minimum 1 year call center experience in patient outreach
• Regular attendance; shifts 8 AM-7 PM EST, possible evenings/Saturdays
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, negotiation, and rapport-building skills
• Proficiency with call center platforms, EHR, Excel, and Google Sheets
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and adaptability in fast-paced environment
• Reliable high-speed internet

Nice to have

• Associate’s Degree
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or ExCPT) or active license
