Salary: NL - €83,000–101,000; ES - €68,500–86,000

What you will do

  • Own AML and CTF operational controls including customer due diligence (KYC, KYB), onboarding and risk assessments.
  • Oversee transaction monitoring, alerts, investigations, suspicious activity reports and escalations.
  • Manage sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening, approving decisions and handling positive matches.
  • Drive policy application, training, remediation, process improvements and preparation for audits/regulatory reviews.
  • Partner with Compliance, Risk, MLRO, Operations on governance, reporting and third-party oversight.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in AML operations, CDD or financial crime in European regulated financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of EU AML, Dutch requirements and FATF recommendations.
  • Experience in first line AML accountability and overseeing outsourced/centralised teams.
  • Familiarity with transaction monitoring systems and CDD technology.
  • Excellent English communication skills for stakeholder management.
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with sound risk-based judgement.

  • Compliance qualifications (ICA, ACAMS, CAMS).
