What you will do

• Act as the primary technical bridge between operational fraud investigators and the Strategy/Data teams.
• Lead data-driven investigations by constructing complex SQL queries to identify potential threats and suspicious activities.
• Perform proactive analysis to uncover new fraud patterns and emerging threats across the ecosystem.
• Monitor key fraud metrics to detect anomalies and provide technical querying support for active cases.
• Collaborate with the Fraud Strategy team to develop the logic for new fraud rule creation.
• Optimize investigator workflows by mastering data tools and SQL tables (e.g., Omni).

Requirements

• High proficiency in SQL for navigating complex databases and extracting insights under pressure.
• Proven experience in fraud pattern identification, specifically within Fintech, Payments, or Remittances.
• Ability to translate complex data findings into actionable language for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-starter mindset with a high degree of agency and a bias for action.
• Strong analytical ability to connect disparate data points and uncover sophisticated fraud rings.
