What you will do

• Identify and onboard new merchants across South Luzon for POS terminals, QR payments, and e-wallet services.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships to drive transaction growth, retention, and overall merchant satisfaction.
• Lead commercial negotiations regarding merchant discount rates (MDRs) and service agreements.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure seamless merchant integration and support.
• Act as the primary relationship manager and escalation point for operational issues within the regional portfolio.
• Monitor portfolio performance, analyzing transaction volumes and revenue growth to identify upselling opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in merchant acquisition, business development, or account management within fintech, banking, payments, or e-commerce.
• Proven track record in closing deals and achieving sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Willingness to travel within South Luzon for field and merchant visits.
