What you will do

• Build and guide a high-performing engineering team, fostering motivation and empowerment.
• Engage in technical design, code reviews, and architectural decisions while balancing leadership.
• Translate product visions into scalable solutions through data-driven technical and strategic decisions.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and data teams to align priorities and deliver features.
• Coach senior engineers to take ownership and expand influence across the organization.
• Maintain deep understanding of system architecture, performance, and reliability for long-term scalability.
• Hire, onboard, and support exceptional talent through one-on-one conversations and team dynamics.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading high-performing engineering teams and delivering impactful products.
• Deep technical expertise in software development and system design, ideally in Python, TypeScript, AWS, or Terraform, with experience building scalable systems.
• Product and design-oriented, skilled at translating user and business needs into high-quality solutions.
• Effective communicator and collaborator across engineering, product, and design.
• Passionate about mentoring, developing talent, and fostering inclusive team culture.
• Committed to operational excellence, technical quality, and reliable systems with a track record of iterative shipping.
