What you will do

• Own and lead the engineering function, ensuring alignment with product strategy, regulatory obligations, and operational resilience.
• Set and improve standards for code quality, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and production readiness.
• Provide technical leadership to Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and senior engineers through hands-on coding, PR reviews, and design oversight.
• Drive adoption of modern tooling, including AI-assisted workflows, and partner with CPTO, Product, Architecture, Security, and Platform leaders.
• Remain actively hands-on in core platform, complex integrations, and AI-enabled features.

Requirements

• Recent, sustained hands-on production coding experience, including committing code, reviewing PRs, and refactoring complex codebases.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs; strong systems thinking in monoliths, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• AI-first mindset with hands-on use of AI tools for code generation, testing, documentation, and LLMs in production use-cases like document automation.
• Cloud/DevOps expertise: AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform etc.), CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, incident response.
• Security knowledge: OWASP, NIST, OAuth2/OIDC/SAML, GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2 in regulated environments.
