TL;DR

Cinematographer (Motion and Film): Collaborate with directors and producers to develop visual approach and execute on set across commercials, brand films, talking heads, and interviews with an accent on camera, lighting, and grip setups within budget constraints. Focus on offloading footage, building DaVinci Resolve projects, color grading, and final exports while adapting to workflow.

Location: Based in the Bay Area, ideally close to San Francisco. Expect to be on set in the SF area 3–4 days per week. Must have a car.

Salary: $70,000 to $100,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

• Offload footage, build DaVinci Resolve projects, organize from shoot through post.
• Color grade projects and handle final exports as needed.
• Adapt to and improve workflow and pipeline across projects.
• Wear multiple hats depending on production needs.

Requirements

• Based in the Bay Area, close to San Francisco; on set 3–4 days/week; must have a car.
• Strong technical foundation in camera systems, lighting, and grip.
• Genuine passion for cinematography craft (exposure, lenses, coatings, falloff).
• Relentless attention to detail and make-work mentality to innovate within constraints.
• Prior cinematography experience; strong technical baseline and quick learner.
• Comfortable in agency environment with shifting timelines and after-hours responsiveness.
