Videographer and Video Editor (AI)

Location: San Francisco Bay Area; hybrid schedule with 4 days on-site and 1 day working from home. In-person filming and collaboration with the team are required.

Salary: $130K–$170K per year plus equity.

What you will do

• Develop video concepts, scripts, interview questions, and shot lists.
• Film founders, engineers, customers, product launches, and events while managing camera, lighting, and audio.
• Direct interviews and help participants feel natural and confident on camera.
• Edit footage through final delivery, including sound, color correction, captions, music, and basic motion graphics.
• Combine live footage, screen recordings, and graphics to explain software and demonstrate AI agents.
• Create long-form videos and short clips for LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and other channels while managing production schedules, feedback, backups, and reusable assets.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional filming and editing experience, or an exceptional equivalent portfolio.
• Portfolio demonstrating personal responsibility for both filming and editing.
• Ability to independently run shoots, including camera operation, lighting, and clean audio capture.
• Strong editing skills in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or a comparable professional tool.
• Strong judgment in storytelling, pacing, composition, and sound, plus the ability to explain technical topics clearly.
• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or able to relocate, with availability for in-person work and filming.

Nice to have

• Experience at a technology company or an agency serving technology clients.
• Experience with B2B software, AI, developer tools, or infrastructure storytelling.
• Experience producing product demos, customer testimonials, founder interviews, launch campaigns, motion graphics, or animation.
