TL;DR

Senior Sustainability Consultant (ESG): Lead delivery of sustainability and ESG consultancy projects for commercial real estate and private equity clients with an accent on GRESB assessments, due diligence, regulatory alignment, and decarbonisation strategies. What you will do

• Lead and deliver ESG and sustainability projects across commercial property portfolios and funds.
• Manage projects from inception to completion, meeting quality, programme, and commercial objectives.
• Act as day-to-day client lead, building trusted adviser relationships and providing pragmatic ESG advice.
• Handle GRESB assessments, ESG due diligence, strategies, climate risk analysis, carbon footprinting, and building certifications like BREEAM, LEED, and WELL.
• Mentor project team members and contribute to business development, proposals, and resource planning.

Requirements

• 5+ years in sustainability, ESG, or environmental consultancy, with senior or autonomous delivery experience
• Strong understanding of real estate markets, investor priorities, and landlord/tenant dynamics
• Proven client account management and independent project delivery
• Sound knowledge of ESG frameworks (GRESB, TCFD, SFDR, EU Taxonomy, UN PRI)
• Excellent communication, organisational, project management, and financial skills
• Consultancy background in the built environment

Nice to have

• Experience with PERE, institutional investors, or fund clients
• Supporting proposals and service growth activities
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
