What you will do

• Develop and deliver fire engineering strategies for new and existing buildings across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial, and mixed-use projects.
• Undertake fire safety assessments and analyse building designs against regulatory requirements.
• Prepare fire strategy reports, technical specifications, and engineering calculations.
• Conduct evacuation modelling, smoke control analysis, and life safety assessments.
• Provide fire safety advice to architects, developers, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
• Review plans, attend project meetings, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and advise on legislation changes and emerging fire engineering technologies.

Requirements

• Background in fire engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience preparing fire strategies and technical reports.
• Understanding of UK fire safety legislation and building regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
