What you will do

• Undertake mechanical engineering design for building services including heating, ventilation, cooling, and domestic water systems
• Prepare and check calculations, drawings, and specifications across concept, developed, and technical design stages
• Coordinate mechanical services with architectural, structural, electrical, and sustainability disciplines
• Support project leads in technical compliance, quality assurance, tender packages, and contractor queries
• Contribute to technical reviews, knowledge sharing, building surveys, and site construction monitoring
• Use tools like IES, AutoCAD, and Revit for accurate design outputs

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience delivering mechanical designs in consultancy or design-and-build environments
• Strong technical skills with IES, Revit, AutoCAD, and understanding of UK Building Regulations, CIBSE guides
• Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
• Track record of project design responsibility from feasibility to construction
• Organised, detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple deadlines
• Collaborative team player willing to learn
