Plumbing Designer

TL;DR

Plumbing Designer (Revit/AutoCAD): Assist in the design process and preparation of building systems drawings for hotels, apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, and educational facilities with an accent on using computer-assisted engineering software. Focus on designing and laying out engineering drawings, following established procedures, and familiarizing with state-of-the-art design and regulations.

What you will do

• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software like Revit and AutoCAD to prepare engineering and design documents.
• Assist in studies, drawings, and design as required for building plumbing systems.
• Follow established design procedures and state/local regulations.
• Accept direction, supervision, and collaborate well with the team.
• Design and layout engineering drawings within plumbing specialty.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborative team environment.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in CAD Design, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field preferred; or equivalent 1–2 years relevant experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
• Previous experience with consulting engineering firm in design/drafting preferred.
