What you will do
- Lead HR and Payroll functional workstreams for a large-scale transformation from Oracle to SAP S/4HANA.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and project controls expectations (PCE).
- Coordinate daily activities between functional teams, SMEs, program leadership, and external vendors.
- Identify, document, and drive the resolution of workstream-level risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for HR/Payroll workstreams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with business owners and technical teams to ensure system readiness and user adoption.
Requirements
- 8+ years of project management experience, including 5+ years managing ERP-related workstreams.
- Demonstrated experience leading HR and Payroll components in major ERP implementations.
- US citizenship is required due to government contract and clearance requirements.
- Strong understanding of HR and Payroll business processes and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project and Jira.
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or transitioning specifically from Oracle EBS to SAP S/4HANA.
- PMP or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience in federal, research, or DOE national laboratory environments.
- Background in Agile or hybrid delivery models within ERP programs.
