What you will do

• Analyze and recommend technical solutions for electrical problems of intermediate complexity.
• Develop and review specifications, design criteria, and electrical design documents.
• Perform engineering analyses and calculations for short circuit, load flow, stability, and voltage drop.
• Create and modify electrical design drawings, including single line diagrams, schematics, and wiring layouts.
• Coordinate technical issues with other disciplines, project management, vendors, and clients.
• Provide technical support for equipment procurement and construction administration.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical (Power) Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of work-related experience.
• Experience providing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services on commercial or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in 2D CADD and 3D modeling automation tools.
• Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes and standards.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with nuclear facilities under ASME NQA-1 requirements.
• Proficiency with Intergraph Smart3D, Visual Professional, or power systems software like ETAP.
• Practical field experience.
