TL;DR

Senior Sales Manager (Greece & Balkans, Wind Energy): Identifying and developing new business opportunities with clients for onshore wind turbines with an accent on prospecting, commercial negotiations, and project support. Focus on market expansion, coordinating internal teams for offers and contracts, and ensuring successful project handovers.

Location: Marousi (Athens), Greece. Frequent travelling across the Balkan region required.

What you will do

  • Prospect new clients and expand business in Greece and Balkans.
  • Support clients through pre-tender discussions, site visits, and commercial negotiations for wind turbine sales.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, project management, legal) to prepare offers and close contracts.
  • Maintain market understanding and coordinate project board meetings for approvals.
  • Plan forecasts and reports using CRM and IT tools, in collaboration with regional sales teams.
  • Liaise with local construction and maintenance for project handovers and feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Business/Engineering with technical knowledge.
  • 10+ years technical/commercial experience in high-value equipment, preferably wind energy.
  • Excellent Greek and English (spoken/written); Serbian/Croatian, German, or French a plus.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy sector in Greece/Balkans, ideally wind.
  • Project financing knowledge, cash flow modeling, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, initiative, and ability to work independently and in a team.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Italian market.
  • Knowledge of economic aspects of energy projects.
