What you will do

• Execute fundamental credit analysis of individual holdings within structured asset classes to drive investment decisions for the GIA.
• Research, underwrite, and monitor multiple fixed income asset classes, bringing strategies through Investment Committees.
• Conduct in-depth macro research into investment topics to evaluate potential opportunities and perform surveillance of current holdings.
• Collaborate with internal and external asset managers to review portfolio strategies and performance.
• Contribute to the collaborative investment process by sharing analysis and buy/sell recommendations with leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 3+ years of relevant experience structuring and underwriting complex structured credit investments in Investment Banking or Portfolio Management.
• 3+ years of experience modeling complex investments across Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) markets.
• Must be located in or be able to work from Boston, MA.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Finance, MBA, or CFA designation.
• Experience working with transaction counsel and analyzing complex structures.
• Proficiency in Bloomberg terminal and Intex (or similar) modeling.
• Knowledge of Liability Driven Investment (LDI) and insurance solutions.
• Strong Excel modeling skills with the ability to handle complex datasets.
