What you will do

• Inspect parts for defects and material handling damage.
• Deburr, polish, scrape, or grind parts using files, wire brushes, buffing cloths, and abrasive wheels.
• Operate tools including Dremel with Scotchbrite/abrasive wheel, Flex-hone, hand-held die-grinder, and grit blast cabinet.
• Mount and change tooling such as rubberized abrasives and grinder wheels.
• Use compressed air to clean parts after polishing and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Maintain consistent attendance and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must pass respirator medical evaluation and fit test annually; wear respirator 8 hours/day.
• Specific vision: close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and 25 pounds occasionally.
