Salary: USD $119,800 – $234,700 per year (USD $160,200 – $261,000 in San Francisco Bay area and New York City)

What you will do

• Design and build backend services in C#/.NET on Azure (AKS, Functions, Cosmos DB, SQL).
• Drive large-scale infrastructure migration from VMs to Kubernetes.
• Deliver full-stack features across GraphQL APIs and TypeScript frontends for business-critical workflows.
• Handle live-site engineering, incident response, production health, and observability.
• Build new applications as the platform expands, including AI-powered features like Copilot and LLM integrations.
• Lead architecture discussions, mentor on extensible code, and ensure system scalability and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding (C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python) OR equivalent.
• Experience with C#/.NET and Azure cloud services (AKS, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL).
• Production live-site engineering, observability, incident response; familiarity with GraphQL, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code.
• Use AI-powered development workflows (Copilot, LLM-assisted coding) as core practice.
• Must be eligible to work in the US; location requirement: within 50-mile commute of Redmond office for 4 days/week office presence.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree AND 6+ years or Bachelor’s AND 8+ years experience.
