What you will do

• Set up, program, edit programs, and operate CNC machinery such as lathes, mills, and drills.
• Maintain tight tolerances within .0003" and inspect work using micrometers, bore gages, and calipers.
• Work from routings, prints, sketches, and instructions to machine various materials like stainless steel, alloys, and exotics.
• Preset and sharpen tools, perform preventative maintenance, and report equipment issues.
• Follow safety policies, keep work area clean, and complete labor reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical school education and working machinist knowledge.
• Minimum 3 years of CNC machine tool programming and operating experience.
• Mill and lathe experience preferred; ability to operate at least 2 CNC machine tools.
• Numerical control machining skills, read/interpret machine drawings, and make mathematical calculations.
• Previous manual machinist experience; detail-oriented with good problem-solving and organization skills.
• Capable of working independently and handling multiple priorities.
