What you will do

• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models of components, assemblies, and systems for engineering and manufacturing.
• Develop technical drawings and documentation aligned with standards and requirements.
• Apply geometric and dimensional constraints for design accuracy and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with engineers to review, refine, and iterate design concepts.
• Translate conceptual requirements into precise digital models using advanced CAD tools.
• Identify challenges and suggest improvements for submarine systems projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technical field +5 years, OR associate +8 years, OR high school +11 years experience
• Minimum 3+ years CAD and 3D design, preferably in submarine or defense systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks
• Experience with model-based design tools and methodologies
• Ability to interpret engineering requirements and produce accurate drawings
• US citizenship with active Top Secret clearance required
• Strong independent work and collaboration skills

• Prior Department of Defense experience
