Draftsperson (Mechanical)

What you will do

• Develop detailed 3D models for fabrication drawings, ROV tooling, and equipment assemblies.
• Create 2D drawings, including field layouts, deck arrangements, and rigging plans.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate emerging technologies.
• Manage time, document reviews, and progress updates for efficient delivery.
• Work with senior drafting teams to improve efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in 3D modelling, design, and drafting.
• Proficiency in Solidworks or similar 3D design software.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar 2D drafting software.
• Ability to transform ideas or sketches into detailed design solutions.
• Must provide evidence of Australian working rights; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Nice to have

• Experience in subsea/offshore engineering or manufacturing industries.
• Tertiary qualifications in computer-aided design/engineering or an engineering trade background.
