What you will do
- Work with leaders to prioritize improvement projects linked to strategic Y-Tree priorities and create project hoppers.
- Apply statistical and Lean tools to define, measure, analyze, improve, and control processes for waste reduction and efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver results connected to business priorities, handling uncertain outcomes.
- Coach Green Belts and high-potential employees in process improvement methodologies.
- Synthesize data into clear communications and maintain alignment with sponsors and process owners.
- Act as SE ambassador, promoting best practices and continuous improvement culture.
Requirements
- Continuous improvement mindset; Yellow/Green Belt certification or willingness to pursue.
- Project management experience with practical application across project phases.
- Experience in complex process improvement, team management (direct or matrix), and stakeholder management.
- Strong leadership, change management, coaching, communication, and analytical skills.
- Resilience in ambiguity, results orientation, and ability to drive change with data.
- Geographic scope global with travel to where work is done.
Nice to have
- MBA or consultancy experience.
- Lean Six Sigma experience.
- Exceptional knowledge of SLB (Smiths Leadership Behaviors).
