2nd Shift Fabrication Mechanic (Mold Prep & Trim): Set up and operate abrasive, squaring, deburring, and sizing equipment to prepare assemblies and details to cosmetic and dimensional requirements with an accent on surface optimization for finishing processes. Focus on grinding, cutting, sanding walls to specifications, using chemicals for part preparation, and readying parts for molding ovens.
Location: Laconia, NH, United States (2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM). Must be able to train on 2nd Shift.

What you will do
- Perform visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, and finished products to validate conformance to blueprints and procedures.
- Conduct material preparation using Dremel tools, buffing wheels, and sandpaper scuffing techniques to optimize surfaces.
- Grind, cut, or sand walls to acceptable limits using hand tools.
- Apply chemicals like chemlock, acetone, and alcohol to prepare parts for next processes.
- Prepare parts for curing in ovens ahead of molding operations.
Requirements
- Physically able to stand, walk, use hands, reach, lift up to 25 pounds, with close vision and focus adjustment.
- High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training or equivalent.
