TL;DR

Sheet Metal Worker - 2nd Shift (CNC sheet metal): Set up and operate CNC brake presses, punch presses, and/or lasers to produce sheet metal components with an accent on maintaining tolerances to blueprints and routing sequences. Focus on operating and editing CNC programs, monitoring equipment during production, and performing basic inspections to ensure quality while following safety requirements.

What you will do

  • Set up and operate CNC brake presses, punch presses, and/or lasers to produce sheet metal components to specifications.
  • Maintain part accuracy by following routing sequences, blueprints, and specified tolerances.
  • Operate and edit CNC equipment programs and verify outputs against blueprints and routings.
  • Monitor equipment during operation, report issues promptly, and perform basic visual inspections for defects.
  • Follow daily work assignments and maintain accurate job status updates.
  • Support continuous improvement, participate in on-the-job training, and assist other department functions as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to understand and follow applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.
  • Must establish employment eligibility and complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Nice to have

  • 1+ years of sheet metal forming experience.
