What you will do

• Produce and maintain enterprise data modeling artifacts including ERDs, attribute-level source-of-truth mappings, and grain definitions.
• Govern the Silver layer canonical model within a Databricks lakehouse / Microsoft Fabric environment, conforming data from Workday and Dynamics 365.
• Design and maintain Gold layer dimensional models across core subject areas such as revenue, workforce, pipeline, and financial performance.
• Perform architectural design reviews and approvals to ensure adherence to enterprise standards and downstream usability in Power BI and APIs.
• Translate business requirements into implementable architecture specifications and blueprints for engineering teams.
• Partner with Data Governance and Security to align canonical definitions, data quality rules, and access control architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data modeling, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Hands-on experience with Kimball-style dimensional modeling, medallion architecture patterns, and semantic layer design at enterprise scale.
• Background in professional services, financial services, or similarly complex industries.
• Experience establishing architectural governance practices, including design reviews and architecture decision records (ADRs).

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in a technical or business discipline.
• Experience with Workday as a source system (HCM, PSA, and/or Financials modules).
• CDMP — Certified Data Management Professional (DAMA International).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Databricks Certified Data Engineer.
• Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate.
