What you will do

• Define and own the enterprise analytics architecture across Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
• Design and optimize large-scale semantic and data models, including incremental refresh, partitioning, aggregations, and composite models.
• Establish a governed DBT metrics layer with clear metric definitions and versioned transformations.
• Design data governance and access control using Unity Catalog, RBAC, RLS, OLS, and workspace isolation.
• Lead system-level performance diagnostics across modeling, DAX, Spark processing, capacity, and governance layers.

Requirements

• Strong production experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI Premium capacity, including high-concurrency performance behavior.
• Hands-on expertise with Databricks and SparkSQL, including performance optimization and Unity Catalog governance.
• Experience building and scaling enterprise metrics layer architecture; DBT is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose complex performance issues across modeling, compute, and capacity layers.
