What you will do

• Lead CFO-level advisory engagements, providing strategic financial insights and operational guidance for construction clients.
• Drive change management to modernize service delivery using technology, processes, and best practices.
• Build trusted relationships with client executives and deliver tailored solutions aligned with business goals.
• Oversee client teams for timely accounting engagements and analyze financial performance with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on integrated solutions like revenue cycle, payroll, and cost reporting.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial planning strategies; mentor staff for continuous learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related; CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years in public accounting or industry, preferably with construction clients (job costing, WIP, project financials).
• Experience advising on cash flow, project profitability, and liquidity in project-based settings.
• Proven leadership in organizational change, process improvement, project management, and remote teams.
• Strong relationship-building, stakeholder collaboration (banking, surety, audit), and clear communication of complex data.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, and new technologies.
