What you will do

• Lead training centre operations, overseeing maintenance, engineering, and functional support staff.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and lead the Integrated Platform Team (IPT).
• Manage the training centre budget, schedule, quality, scope of services, and overall risk.
• Collaborate with project execution teams for the integration and transition of acquisition and discrete projects.
• Identify and communicate issues and risks to ensure contracted outcomes are delivered safely and effectively.

Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
• Ability to work 5 days on site at RAAF Base Williamtown or RAAF Base Edinburgh.
• Strong front-line or operational leadership experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects or programs of work.
• Project Management qualification or equivalent proven experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Systems Engineering and/or Technology projects.
• Proficiency in Waterfall and Agile planning and scheduling.
• Experience managing project financials.
• Strong experience managing risk and opportunities in accordance with ISO 31000.
