What you will do

• Lead partners and site teams to deliver data center capacity on the fastest possible schedule while ensuring safety and quality.
• Validate deal readiness and transaction viability from Letter of Intent (LOI) through lease execution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for landlords and developers, coordinating internal stakeholders and tracking progress.
• Represent the company in technical and operational decisions during the development process to meet infrastructure requirements.
• Drive seamless handoffs to networking and deployment teams to enable rapid workload turn-ups.
• Prepare executive reporting on facility development and proactively mitigate risks throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in site leadership managing data center delivery, construction, or infrastructure deployment at scale within Australia.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end data center development process, including permitting, planning, execution, and commissioning.
• Deep knowledge of data center design and construction norms, players, and incentives within the Australian market.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Sydney office per the hybrid policy.

Nice to have

• Understanding of AI/ML infrastructure, specifically high-density power and advanced cooling systems.
• Previous leadership roles (General Superintendent, Project Manager) within a GC or EPC on hyperscale data center projects.
• Experience with lease negotiations, construction contracts, or real estate development processes.
• Proven ability to create winning cultures across diverse job sites through extreme ownership.
