Localization Operations Specialist, 3-6 Month Contract

Location: Must live within commuting distance of Los Angeles, San Francisco, or New York City hubs. Flexibility to work from home or global office hubs, valuing in-person time for planning and connection.

Salary: $55 – $60 per hour

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day localization projects across product, marketing, and support content for timely, high-quality delivery
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align on priorities, timelines, and requirements
• Support international launches by coordinating readiness and surfacing risks early
• Triage localization feedback and bugs, collaborating with vendors and internal teams on fixes
• Improve processes, documentation, and linguistic assets to support scaling

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience managing localization or content operations projects
• Experience with TMS platforms such as Smartling, Phrase, or similar
• Strong project management skills for multiple workstreams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional working proficiency in at least one additional language beyond English
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally in tech, marketplace, or high-growth environments
• Detail-oriented with bias toward action and comfort in ambiguity
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis and propose solutions
