What you will do

• Manage and resolve high-value bodily injury claims, including complex coverage and extra-contractual issues.
• Conduct thorough investigations to assess the nature and extent of injuries and gather critical evidence.
• Oversee litigated matters through to verdict, collaborating closely with defense counsel and litigation partners.
• Negotiate fair and equitable settlements with claimants and their representatives.
• Prepare detailed documentation and reports to support claim evaluations and settlement negotiations.
• Train and mentor junior staff on claims handling processes and strategic best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or comparable professional insurance experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in bodily injury claims adjusting, including extra-contractual claims.
• Extensive knowledge of litigation, legal principles, and insurance policies.
• Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and injury assessment.
• Must be based in one of the following US states: AL, AZ, CA, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, KS, LA, MI, MO, MS, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OK, OH, PA, TN, TX, WI.
• Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
