Flight Software Intern (Embedded C)

TL;DR

Flight Software Intern (Embedded C): Contributing to the development of flight software for aerospace systems with an accent on embedded C and real-time operating systems. Location: On-site in Tokyo, Japan. Must reside in Japan with a valid working visa or hold a valid Japanese student visa.

Salary: JPY 1,500 per hour

What you will do

• Contribute to the development of flight software as part of the Flight Software Team.
• Design, implement, and maintain embedded C code for flight software applications.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability.

Requirements

• Experience developing software in embedded C.
• Familiarity with real-time operating systems (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr RTOS).
• Experience working with communication interfaces (UART, I2C, SPI).
• Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP).
• Experience with build systems like Makefile and CMake.
• Experience developing on ARM-based SoCs.
• Must be an undergraduate or graduate student required to complete an internship as part of their degree program.
• Must hold a valid Japanese working visa or student visa.
