Salary: $223,500 – $307,000

What you will do

• Advise the People & Places team on the full employment lifecycle, from recruiting to separation.
• Serve as a strategic legal partner for centralized subject matters and workforce strategy.
• Represent the company in employment claims and manage outside litigation counsel.
• Lead special projects to ensure legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Deliver practical, business-oriented advice to enable smart risk-taking.
• Use generative AI tools to scale legal services and accelerate workflows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience advising on complex global workforce issues.
• Strong background in employment litigation.
• JD and active bar membership (California preferred).
• Experience interfacing with senior executives.
• Ability to balance legal risks with business objectives.
• Must be located in or able to work from Mountain View or San Diego, CA.

• Prior in-house legal experience.
