Salary: $108,900 – $161,160 per year

What you will do

  • Design, create, and maintain animation systems that drive gameplay motion for characters.
  • Develop features for major mechanics, including locomotion, abilities, and UI selection animations.
  • Collaborate with Animation, Engineering, and Design teams to deliver a cohesive, high-quality animation style.
  • Implement scalable solutions to streamline animation content creation and integration.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to animators to promote cross-disciplinary growth.
  • Document processes and share technical insights to improve team workflows.

Requirements

  • Shipped at least one AAA title with 4+ years of professional animation experience in Maya.
  • 2+ years of experience with Unreal Engine, including scripting with Blueprints and/or C++.
  • Strong understanding of third-person shooter mechanics and in-engine animation systems (state machines, blendspaces, graphs).
  • Proficiency with run-time and procedural animation tools such as IK, Control Rig, retargeting, ragdolls, and motion matching.
  • Solid foundation in vector math and code concepts.
  • Must be based in the US to be eligible for employment and benefits.
