Business Analyst (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Analyze and document “as-is” and “to-be” workflows for production, planning, and supply chain.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Design and support performance dashboards using Power BI, SSRS, and Excel.
• Support the configuration and implementation of ERP/MES systems, with a preference for Epicor.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support Lean/Kaizen initiatives with data and process maps.
• Coordinate between operations, IT, and leadership to manage changes and prepare training materials.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing environments (e.g., electronics, machining, assembly).
• Understanding of MRP/MPS, BOMs, routings, and production planning concepts.
• Hands-on experience with ERP and/or MES systems.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools for data analysis and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Fitchburg, MA.
