What you will do

• Lead cross-functional projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate execution across engineering, operations, planning, quality, supply chain, and R&D teams.
• Establish project governance, tracking tools, and reporting mechanisms to improve visibility of priorities and constraints.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and bottlenecks, and drive timely resolution of issues.
• Implement process improvements and standard work to enhance project execution and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing, engineering, medical device, or industrial equipment environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, project management, or a related technical field.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects involving engineering and operational teams.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, including scope development, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Ability to work onsite in a traditional office environment in Rochester, NY.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification.
• Medical device knowledge, including ISO13485 and MDSAP requirements.
• Experience working with ERP, MRP, or project portfolio management systems.
