What you will do

• Develop designs for business functions, applications, and infrastructure architectures.
• Lead the identification and definition of application architectures, data models, and security designs.
• Deliver software engineering designs and programs for new products and enhancements.
• Code complex or high-risk components and optimize database management across multiple systems.
• Provide technical direction and coaching to software developers and associate developers.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in CS/Engineering with 3 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of complex software development experience.
• Expertise in multi-language programming including Java, C++, Cobol, and Visual Basic.
• Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented design patterns and enterprise application integration.
• Experience with large-scale business applications across Web, Unix, and Windows environments.
• Location: Must be within commuting distance of the Windsor, CT office.
