Data Analyst (Manufacturing)

TL;DR

Data Analyst (Manufacturing): Collecting, analyzing, and visualizing switchgear performance data to enable data-driven decision making with an accent on throughput, utilization, and labor efficiency. Focus on developing Power BI dashboards, performing root-cause analysis for downtime, and optimizing MES/ERP data capture.

Location: 100% in-office presence in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada (no remote work)

Salary: CAD 41.82 – 53.37/hr

What you will do

• Analyze switchgear data from OEE, MES, and ERP (SyteLine) to generate accurate performance insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards in Power BI or Tableau for daily, weekly, and monthly production visibility.
• Monitor critical KPIs including on-time start, production plan attainment, and labor efficiency.
• Provide detailed root-cause analysis for downtime, quality issues, and process instability.
• Collaborate with Planning on capacity modeling, production forecasting, and scenario simulations.
• Support continuous improvement projects through data modeling and statistical analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing analytics, operations analysis, or industrial engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
• Strong experience with ERP systems (Infor SyteLine preferred).
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Surrey, BC.

Nice to have

• Strong skills in SQL, data manipulation, and database structures.
• Familiarity with OEE, MES, and single piece flow assembly line monitoring systems.
• Experience supporting process implementation and standard work documentation.
