What you will do

• Investigate and resolve complex production issues affecting user experience.
• Interface with vendor systems using SQL and API calls to research customer complaints.
• Commit code fixes directly to backend systems.
• Use AI to identify and implement operational improvements and efficiencies.
• Act as a technical consultant for the Operations team to automate manual processes.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 1+ year of engineering experience with proficiency in at least one backend language.
• Experience with SQL and REST APIs.
• Strong written communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of payment systems (e.g., card processing, ACH).
• Familiarity with AWS.
• Shell scripting experience with bash, zsh, or similar.
